Lancaster and Dakota C47 Tour
Tour Description
This tour is a must for any avid aviation enthusiast, taking a once in a lifetime opportunity to view firsthand the trials and tribulations of being on a Lancaster aircraft in WWII.
Featuring a personalised tour of the inside and outside of the restored Lancaster bomber, you’ll find out what it is like to crawl over the two wing spars, sit in the wireless operator’s seat and touch the navigator’s desk inside this unique aircraft.
You will also enter the Dakota C47, which served in all theatres of World War II, climbing into the cockpit to view the control panels, seating arrangements and gain a better understanding of the uses of the elements within the aircraft.
Gain an in-depth insight into the mechanics, workings, and crew members of the magnificent aircraft.
