No. 85 Squadron Operations Record Book A50 Entry dated 22 September 1943

A popular young pilot, Sergeant B.O. Wolf, died after a go around at Guildford in Boomerang A46-31. The plane stalled after turning sharply after take-off. Sergeant Wolf was buried in the War Graves Section, Karrakatta after an Air Force funeral.
