On 29 December 1942, Leading Aircraftman Wilson, a Flight Rigger, died of his injuries received in a motor car accident. The car, which was driven by Corporal Michael Edward Delves (411487) (Discharged: 16 January 1946), struck a tree at 2145 hours in Cemetery Avenue, adjoining the Deniliquin Station grounds.
