The reason for Air Mechanic Williams’ association with Colac is not shown in the Casualty File.

Air Mechanic Williams was taken prisoner on 29 April 1916 following the surrender of British and Indian forces at Kut, Iraq.  He was reported to have died at Adana, Iraq, on 30 July 1916.
