At 2153 hours on the night of 7 September 1943 Wellington BJ621 took off from RAF Chipping Warden detailed to carry out a night navigation training exercise. The aircraft crashed with considerable force at Eudon Mill near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. All the crewmembers were killed.
