On 31 October 1945, Warrant Officer Rogan, a Fitter Driver Motor Transport and Leading Aircraftman Ernest Mervyn Hall (130691), a Driver Motor Transport, were killed in a road accident when a tender in which they were travelling crashed into a telegraph pole while in a convoy travelling from Sydney to Brisbane.
