DFC Citation: “Pilot Officer Robson showed conspicuous courage when carrying out a bombing attack on warships in Wilhelmshaven in July. Undeterred by terrific enemy gunfire he swept down to 20 feet above the buildings, crossed the harbour and pressed home his attack on an enemy warship.” (London Gazette 6 August 1940 Page 4809)

On 22 August 1940, Hampden P4360 took off from Hemswell to attack the Mitteland Canal, Germany, and was lost without trace. The crew members of P4360 were:
