Blenheim BA494 of No. 113 Squadron was reported missing on 25 May 1943. Parts of the wreckage of BA 494 were later found on the beach in Bahir Char district near Fenni, and also a revolver of one of the crew. The wreck was located on the riverside at Charkhandakir, which is about 20 kms south south west of Fenni. A body was also found but before it could be recovered, it was washed out by the tide.
