On 20 June 1941, Wirraway A20-272 crashed at Moroco West, 40 kms south west of Deniliquin, New South Wales, at about 1730 hours and both crew members were killed. The aircraft was on a cross country training flight and the cause of the accident is obscure. The crew members of A20-272 were:
