Leading Aircraftman Murrin was killed when a RAAF refuelling tanker overturned at the corner of Bagot and McMillan Rods, Nightcliff, on 26 April 1944. Leading Aircraftman Albert Frederick Pearce (10274) (Discharged: 14 February 1946) was injured.
