On 6 July 1946, Leading Aircraftman Meagher, Fitter Driver Motor Transport, was killed when a vehicle in which he was travelling overturned on Peak Hill road, 17 miles from Narromine, New South Wales. Leading Aircraftman Frederick August Rohrich (166246) (Discharged: 23 October 1947) was seriously injured.
