On 5 September 1945, Aircraftman Class I McCloud, a Trainee Technician, was admitted to No. 112 Australian General Hospital Greenslopes, Brisbane, dangerously ill with cerebral haemorrhage hyperstate pneumonia and he died on 7 September 1945.
