On the 18th November 1942, Harvard 3159 proceeded on a navigation training flight. At about 1245 hours a call was received from the Air Traffic Control at Milton advising that an aircraft had been seen to crash at 1200 hours some eight miles north of Listowel, Ontario. Both the occupants in the aircraft had been killed.
