On 23 January 1945, Leading Aircraftman Logue, a Wireless Maintenance Mechanic, at North Western Area detachment at Milingimbi, Northern Territory, was seriously injured when petrol exploded while refuelling a 25KVA Generator. He was evacuated to No. 1Medical Receiving Station, Darwin, and died of his injuries on the 26 January 1945.
