On 31 October 1945, Warrant Officer Donrick Daniel Rogan (4612), a Fitter Driver Motor Transport and Leading Aircraftman Hall, a Driver Motor Transport, were killed in a road accident when a tender in which they were travelling crashed into a telegraph pole while in a convoy travelling from Sydney to Brisbane.
