On 30 March 1942, Hudson V9025 arrived over Malta at approx 0001 hours. It made a normal circuit of the aerodrome at RAF Station Luqa, and then on its approach to land, the aircraft stalled and crashed into a wall, bursting into flame. All the crew members were killed.
