Leading Aircraftman Duggan (Fitter Engines) died of illness on 4 June 1943. He was repatriated to Australia from the UK and admitted to 6 RAAF Hospital Heidelberg. When on leave in Tasmania he again took ill and died at 41st Camp Hospital, Hobart.
