On 14 June 1942, Tiger Moth A17-379 crashed at 1100 hours at the Western Relief landing ground, Temora, and the trainee pilot was killed. A17-379 and A17-376 had collided in mid-air at approximately 40 feet when taking off and A17-379 dived into the ground and caught fire.
