At 2010 hours on 8 December 1942, Tiger Moths A17-444 and A17-332 collided in mid-air during circuit and landings practice flight and all the crews were killed. The collision occurred at a height of 1,000 feet and the aircraft crashed in Brays Paddock, one mile south east of the Temora aerodrome.
