Brother of Sergeant Phillip Crocker Bucknell (403441)

On 27 November 1941 Hampden P1155 took off from Saltby detailed to carry out a cross-country training exercise and crashed at 0835 hours at Buckminster, 8 miles east north east of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. All the crew members were killed.
