LEST WE FORGET

Air Operations (No. 464 Squadron Mosquito aircraft MT154), English Channel area, 3 June 1944

Mosquito MT154 took off from RAF Gravesend at 0025 hours on the morning of 3 June 1944 being one of six aircraft from the Squadron detailed to carry out night intruder raids in Northern France. MT154 was detailed to attack targets in the Laon/Athies area but failed to return to base. Both the crew are listed as missing and their names are commemorated on the Memorial to the Missing, Runnymede, Surrey, UK.
