We have made the difficult decision to close our doors to keep our staff, volunteers and visitors safe and healthy from the risk of Coronavirus infection.
We find ourselves in very concerning times where we must make difficult decisions in order to protect ourselves and others from being exposed to Coronavirus.
You may not be aware that our museum is run primarily by volunteers, many of whom are in a high-risk group for developing serious symptoms as a result of Coronavirus. They give so much to our museum and the community that their health is of great concern to us, without them we could not run.
Based on current Health Department advice, and our values of respect, care and honesty we have decided to close our doors to visitors.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that you will visit again once we are open.
We will keep everyone updated on our status via Facebook and Instagram.
Please keep safe and well and we hope to see you soon. In the meantime, check out our exciting collection online here.
