At 0925 hours on 2 March 1943, Tiger Moth A17-451 flown solo by Leading Aircraftman Flynn, a Trainee Pilot, crashed one mile north of B Flight Satellite aerodrome at Temora and he was killed. The aircraft was detailed to carry out solo circuits and landings but spun in off a gliding turn, when approaching to land and crashed.
