On 10 March 1943, Boston BZ385 was detailed to fly from Labrador on delivery flight to the UK. Twelve minutes after take-off, engine trouble developed and the Pilot attempted to turn back and make a landing. At 1029 hours the aircraft stalled and crashed at Goose Bay and all the crew members were killed.
